Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager Battered Fish Tacos
This fish taco recipe courtesy of Stone Brewing is sure to make you feel like you're enjoying a plate full of summer anytime of year. Maggi spices give the batter a kick of extra flavor and garnishing the tacos with cabbage, tomatoes, and salsa adds a healthy balance to that crispy goodness.
Ingredients for
Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager Battered Fish Tacos
2 12 ounce cans or bottles of Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager
4 tablespoons yellow mustard
2 ounces Maggi seasoning
3 cups all-purpose flour plus ½ cup for dredging
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 pound Mahi Mahi (cut into strips)
Corn tortillas for serving
Toppings of choice: shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, crema, cotija cheese, and your favorite salsa.

Prepare toppings in advance.
In a large bowl, add beer, mustard, salt, and Maggi seasoning, then slowly whisk in flour. You should achieve a consistency similar to waffle batter: not too thick and not too thin.
In a separate bowl, coat fish with the reserved ½ cup flour. In an 8 quartt pot, heat oil to 325°. Dip fish in batter and gently shake off excess. Lower battered fish slowly into the oil, frying 2 to 3 pieces at a time until golden brown. Place fish on a napkin-lined pan to remove excess oil. Warm the tortillas and assemble your tacos with the toppings of your choice.
