Unlike lox, hot smoked salmon is cooked all the way through and has a great smoky flavor and firm texture that makes it a great addition to this salad, which could be thought of as deconstructed bagel and lox.

Breakfast-for-Lunch Hot Smoked Salmon Salad
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup arugula
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning
- 3 ounces hot smoked salmon
- 1/2 tablespoon capers
- 1/4 lemon, thinly sliced

Instructions for
Breakfast-for-Lunch Hot Smoked Salmon Salad
- On a medium plate, smooth yogurt across one half using the back of a spoon and pile arugula on the other half. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
- Break salmon apart into 1’’ pieces and arrange over the arugula. Top with capers and a few slices of lemon.
- Serve as a quick lunch or as part of a brunch spread alongside a simple omelette.
