Edible San Diego is a champion of locally made wine because it’s a best-kept secret to most residents and visitors. Let’s change that! We partner with the countywide group that represents all local vineyards and winemakers, the San Diego County Vintners Association (SDCVA) with their annual celebration of local wine, San Diego Wine Week, culminating with the much-beloved Wine Festival at Bernardo Winery. The magazine is doing something special again with the incomparable Solare Ristorante, and event curator Heidi Greenwood, founder of Campestre Mag and owner of Esquina Wine Shop. We’ll be featuring four local wines for you to taste and learn about from the winemakers themselves. A bubbly wine will greet you as you arrive. Then, Randy from Solare will present mouthwatering Italian delicacies for paired tastings of white, rosé, and red wine, plus winemaker talks.
