Our annual celebration of Irish culture might look different this year—but compared to last year, this is going to as easy as a cupcake. We’re keeping spirits high with a little socially-distanced something for everyone.

Family Friendly

Cooking Round the World will be hosting a cooking workshop for kids on March 15 at the San Marcos Community Center where kids will learn to make Irish potato soup with dumplings, soda bread, and Irish pinwheel cookies.


Grab the kids and embark on an outdoor scavenger hunt at The Water Conservation Garden in El Cajon. There’s a lost leprechaun and Ms. Smarty-Plants needs your help finding gold coins that will lead to her leprechaun pal.

Getting in a Proper Irish Brekkie

Dan Diego’s weekend brunch offers the full Irish set up with rasher, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms, and beans served alongside three eggs, white and black pudding, and soda bread like a proper Irish breakfast should be.

Julian Tea and Cottage Arts will be offering a special St. Patrick’s Tea service March 17–22 with limited outdoor seating (weather permitting) and takeout available
