Detoxifying Cranberry-Strawberry-Basil Refresher

Tart cranberries, herbaceous basil, sweet strawberries and honey come together in this refreshing drink that supports the body’s natural detoxification system.

Ingredients


SERVES 2

  • ¼ cup cranberry juice, unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 5 strawberries, sliced
  • Handful of basil leaves
  • Ice
  • 2 cups sparkling water

Instructions

  • In jar that has a lid, add cranberry juice and honey. Close tightly and shake vigorously until honey is dissolved.
  • Open the jar and add strawberries, basil and ice. Close tightly and shake vigorously to muddle ingredients and release their flavors.
  • Open the jar and add two cups of distilled or sparkling water, stir.
  • Garnish with extra strawberries and basil.
